How we compare betting sites
Sahara Games covers betting sites, casino games and suppliers across Africa. Our profiles draw on regulator lists, operator websites, supplier announcements and company reports.
Licensing by country
Licences apply to a country and a type of gambling. We link to the relevant source and show the company name, licence number and published dates where available. Historical listings are dated, and expired periods remain clearly labelled.
A studio’s supplier licence is different from a betting site’s operating licence or an individual game’s local approval.
Games and providers
We identify game titles and variants separately and link them to their listed providers. Casino distributors and aggregators can carry games from several studios.
Lobby position shows where an operator places a game. It is not a measure of the number of players or money wagered. RTP figures are theoretical and can differ by game version.
Company news
News entries link to the original announcement. Where an event happened on a different day from publication, both dates are shown. Products and payment options can change, so check the operator’s current terms before depositing.
Independence and corrections
Affiliate links, where used, are disclosed. Send corrections with a supporting source to mbayakelvin@gmail.com.
You must meet the legal gambling age in your country. Uganda’s regulator states that gambling below 25 is illegal: read the regulator’s guidance.
